She began her professional life teaching art in Newport Beach (after graduating from USC) and after five years decided to open Taylor Furnishings.  Whether starting from scratch with an architect or meeting for lunch to discuss a small project, she has been excited about making a living space functional, beautiful, and comfortable.  Over this time, she has created a team of top rate artists and contractors that are first and foremost professional, helpful and most importantly honest and fair.  Timeliness and organization are key also.  Listening to the client and guiding the process to a successful conclusion are her main goals.  Because of these high standards, much of Janet’s business is repeat, whether it be clients wanting to downsize, design a vacation home, modernize, or help their children with their first home. At the end of the project, it is most gratifying to have new friends and for the project to look and feel beautiful!
